Realme 14 Pro and 14 Pro+ hit the global market

Today, Realme held an event to introduce the 14 Pro series of smartphones for international markets. In addition to the already announced 14 Pro+, the company showed a more affordable 14 Pro model, which differs from the 14 Pro+ by the lack of a periscope camera and a less powerful processor.

The Realme 14 Pro+ received a 6.83-inch AMOLED display, while the 14 Pro is equipped with a 6.77-inch screen. Both devices support refresh rates of up to 120 Hz and resolutions higher than 1080p. The smartphones have a fingerprint scanner under the screen and a front camera: 32 MP for the Pro+ and 16 MP for the Pro.

The main difference between the models is in the processors. The Pro+ version runs on the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3 chipset, while the standard 14 Pro is equipped with the Dimensity 7300 with slightly outdated processor cores.

The Pearl White version deserves special attention, as it changes color depending on the temperature. This is the world’s first smartphone series that can change the shade of the case from white to blue when the temperature drops below 16 °C.
In this series, Realme focuses on cameras, especially highlighting the Pro+ model for its impressive photo capabilities.

The device is equipped with a 50-megapixel main camera with a large 1 / 1.56-inch Sony IMX896 sensor and optical image stabilization (OIS). The telephoto lens uses a periscope design, which is rare for mid-range smartphones. The periscope module has a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 sensor. Realme claims that the camera is capable of achieving 120x SuperZoom, which uses 3x optical zoom, and the rest is provided by digital zoom.

To improve the quality of photos, Realme has implemented AI Ultra Clarity 2.0 technology. This feature is designed to reduce blur and noise in 20x zoom shots, and also provides clear images with a super-high-resolution effect at 60x zoom.

Realme 14 Pro

Realme 14 Pro retains the signature triple camera unit with a triple flash, dubbed “Ocean Oculus”. However, of the three camera circles, only two work, and the third element performs a decorative function. The smartphone is equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony IMX882 main camera with optical stabilization (OIS) and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide-angle lens.

The same dimensions of the devices indicate identical battery capacity. The Realme 14 Pro line received a 6000 mAh battery, which is 15% larger than previous models and provides 20% longer battery life. Fast wired charging supports up to 80 W (45 W for the standard 14 Pro). Realme promises to retain 80% of the battery capacity even after four years of use, which corresponds to 1600 full charge cycles.

Both phones run Realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15 and feature 360-degree NFC (availability may vary by region).

The base 14 Pro is available in Black, Purple, and Pearl White colors and is priced at around $265 for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage version. The 14 Pro+ comes in similar colors and configurations but is priced at around $325.
